Established by the Paul Simons Foundation, Avalon Nature Preserve is a testament to Paul's profound admiration for nature and the outdoors. The Foundation is dedicated to safeguarding this distinctive and natural habitat while also striving to revitalize and conserve its ecological legacy. It aspires that both current and forthcoming generations of visitors derive joy from the gardens, trails, and woodlands within this sanctuary.

Avalon Nature Preserve boasts six distinct trails waiting to be explored across the park grounds. You can browse through the Red, Yellow, Blue, Orange, Green, and Boardwalk trails under the Explore tab to access their detailed descriptions on the map. By selecting a trail on the map, you can gauge its level of difficulty and strategically plan your upcoming walk or jog within the park.

FOR THE CURIOUS:

With Avalon Nature Preserve, users can uncover the 13 intriguing points of interest scattered throughout the park. By clicking on a particular point, individuals can peruse through photographs, descriptions, and more. Planning a trail excursion? Simply choose a few points of interest from the Explore tab to include them in your route exploration.

FOR THE SAFETY CONSCIOUS:

Avalon Nature Preserve prioritizes the safety and well-being of all park visitors. In times of need, users can swiftly reach out for assistance by tapping on the SOS button situated in the top right corner of the map to connect with Avalon Preserve's security team promptly. By activating the SOS feature, your location will be shared with designated personnel who can offer guidance and support. This functionality is designed for reporting urgent incidents or signaling suspicious activities. Please note: Avalon Nature Preserve does not substitute emergency services like 911.
